Does The Cathedral demand gold?
No. Penchpress is free — no ads, no premium tier, no hidden costs. Your data isn't sold either.
Must we train at the same gym?
No. Each lifter trains wherever they want. The app tracks your combined estimated 1RM — location doesn't matter.
How is strength measured?
Using the Brzycki formula. Log your weight and reps — the app calculates your estimated one-rep max automatically.
Can I walk this path alone?
You can create a solo challenge, but the app is built for crews. The social pressure is kind of the whole point.
What does The Cathedral know about me?
Your name, email, and your lifts. Nothing else. GDPR-compliant. You can delete your account and all data anytime from settings.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Penchpress is a PWA — it works on any device with a browser. You can install it to your home screen for the full app experience.
